Idk it just really rubs me the wrong way and comes off as very sex negative because I believe the origins of the phrase are from sex… or at least it comes off that way. the idea that a woman is capable of being ruined. it basically means, because of that thing that i had/did i can never have anything else that can compare.  I could be wrong, it just hits me in a funny place idk

  1. I’ve never heard this phrase. I’ve heard something like ‘that restaurant ruined steak sandwiches for me for the rest of my life’ implying it was so bad I could never even look at a steak sandwich again

  2. I could see it meaning “It was such a good steak sandwich that none can ever compare” or “it was so bad I can’t ever eat another one again.” but not sure how the comparison translates to being a sex-negative thing.
